Semyon Remezov : ウィキペディア英語版 | Semyon Remezov Semyon Ulyanovich Remezov ((ロシア語:Семён Улья́нович Ре́мезов)) (ca. 1642, Tobolsk - after 1720, Tobolsk) was a Russian historian, architect and geographer of Siberia. He is known as the compiler of the ''Remezov Chronicle,'' and as the author of some of the earliest extant maps of Siberia, including the (Godounov map ), 1667 and (Khorograficheskaya kniga (cartographical sketch-book) ), the originals of which are both part of the Houghton Library collections at Harvard University. ==References== V.K.
